The Payment Processing department in Dortmund is the owner of some strategic products within Zalando Payments and Zalando itself. *Buy Now Pay Later* is a product that aims at bringing the offline shopping experience to online customers so that articles can be tested at home first before customers have to pay for the goods. Paying into the Buy Now Pay Later product but equally important for Zalando’s checkouts is the *integration of payment methods*. It’s another important product that is developed and maintained by the teams in Dortmund that aims to offering the most desirable payment methods to our customers and the team adds new payment methods on a constant basis.

We are an organisation of almost 300 professionals located mainly in Berlin and Dortmund. We process over 180 million transactions per year across 20 countries and support 23 different payment options for the convenience of our users.
The Technology organisation at Zalando Payments is responsible for building and operating our products and services in a secure and compliant way.
The technology organisation is made up of engineers, applied scientists, information security consultants and project & portfolio managers. The teams work closely with Product, AI & Data and Convenience job families to deliver products, projects and solutions.
The Team provides a full payments solution to the Zalando Group ranging from risk assessment and fraud screening, over offering payment methods in the checkout and processing, up to collection and reconciliation of funds. We are on a sure path to becoming the preferred payment solution for the fashion world and we are always on the lookout for experts in payment products or technology.
