IT Newbies Graduate Programme

Required Skills:

For us, previous IT or financial knowledge is valued but not required, and interpersonal skills are esteemed as highly as technical ability. We are seeking highly-motivated individuals who are able to demonstrate the following:

Junior Business Messaging Engineer

We are looking for a junior Business Messaging Engineer who will contribute to a team responsible for the SWIFT business messages management; Business and Development teams support, main Swift business project implementation.

This position involves analytical skills and troubleshooting capability to work with the team member to quickly diagnose and resolve business and technical issues.

Role  

  • Provide support to the Business users and production team.
  • Participate cross-squads/teams testing activities (e.g. test scheduling, configuration setup, environment alignment…).
  • Implement application patches for the applications BESS/IG on HPE NonStop hardware.
  • You will participate to the testing phase  (e.g. Swift release, new business application flow).
  • Being part of a small team to support to critical SWIFT applications (BESS / IG).
  • Troubleshooting any errors in test or Production.
  • Implement application patches for the applications BESS/IG
  • Support Client onboarding and SWIFT ISO150022 connectivity issue.
  • Participate to the Watch duty and Week-end work (Release, SWAP between Data centre).
  • Maintains operational documentation.

You have: 

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Mathematics, Civil Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ideally a first job/traineeship experience in IT.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, read logs and think out of the box.
  • Familiarity with Office 365,
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Production and client service oriented
  • Knowledge in SWIFT ISO 150022 / 20022 and/or in Network System automation is a plus.

Division 
Group Technology Services (GTS) plans, builds and runs the global infrastructure of Euroclear, and is additionally responsible for the IT service management to the operating entities of the various Group markets. GTS operates its IT systems and IT services in such a way that, at an appropriate and benchmarked cost level, it can deliver the agreed levels of service to support the requirements of the business processes, for both normal operations and during disaster recovery.
