You will have the opportunity to work on thrilling projects, building a bridge between universities and businesses in developing lifelong learning material or micro-credentials for already professionally active engineers.

Key Parts Of The Role

  • In support of the Secretary General of ENGINEERS EUROPE, you are responsible for the organization and daily management of the Secretariat;
  • The proactive support to ENGINEERS EUROPE’s bodies and working groups in terms of organization of meetings, designing and issuing documents, reports, and presentations, drafting the meeeting minutes and following up the implementation of the actions and decisions taken;
  • The job includes the administrative management of the ERASMUS+ project, “Engineers for Europe”, and the participation of/in related meetings, as well as the follow-up of the progress;
  • Networking at a high level with European partners and relevant stakeholders;

Requirements:

  • Preferably a relevant bachelor or master’s degree;
  • Experience in the area of organization and external relations, ideally in a secretariat of an association at national and/or EU/international level;
  • Preferably relevant network and project experience in an international administration environment;
  • Excellent written and spoken English (other languages are a plus).

 

  • Excellent IT and communications skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and reliability;
  • A highly motivated, dynamic and results-driven person;
  • Ability to work individually, in a confident, reliable and convincing manner and also the ability to work in a small team;
  • Proven capacity to take ownership and responsibility in the execution of designated tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to pro-actively follow-up the work in progress and to have an eye for details;
  • Be structured, balanced and have the will to go the extra mile when needed;
  • Reside in Belgium and be willing to occasionally travel within Europe.
