Client: Major car manufacturer

OBJECTIVE

To hire specific technical profiles for its headquarters based in Germany.

CHALLENGES

  • The German employment market is very competitive
  • The targeted population is not very mobile

SOLUTION

To organize 5 Recruitment Days in a midsized German city between 6 recruiters and 12 candidates. The candidates were preselected though CV screening and in-depth telephone interviews as well as online tests. Through scheduled meetings, tests and exercises, the client was able to hire 3 to 5 candidates per Recruitment Day.

Client: Mobile online services for car manufacturing

OBJECTIVE

  • sourcing experienced candidates for four different openings (UI/UX Designer, Product Owner, Sales & Service Manager and BackEnd Developer)
  • working knowledge of English + another specific European language, willing to relocate

CHALLENGES

  • A narrow target group, overwhelmed with competing job postings
  • Due to Covid-19 the face-to-face event could not take place as originally planned

SOLUTION

  • Moving the entire process online from sourcing to onboarding.
  • It includes:
  • Sourcing of candidates
  • Qualification calls: checking motivation, availability, salary expectations etc.
  • Inviting candidates, point of contact until the interviews, and checking candidate feedback.

  • specific requirements such as: specialised in certain SAP modules, min. 3 years of work experience, working knowledge of German & English, willing to work for VW in Wolfsburg with frequent business trips.

CHALLENGES

  • Limited target group which is bombarded with job postings
  • The client didn’t follow up with successful candidates for 4 weeks after the RD

SOLUTION

  • Sourcing of candidates
  • Qualification calls: checking SAP knowledge, motivation, availability etc
  • Inviting candidates, point of contact until the RD
  • Checking candidate feedback
  • Follow-up with client when candidates had not been in touch with VW after the RD
