Job Purpose

We are looking for an Ecommerce IT Product Owner reporting to the Ecommerce IT Capability Lead. This is an EMIA role, based in Brussels.

You will be part of the IT Customer & Commerce team, working together with colleagues and development partners across the globe: Poland, Italy, Germany, India to name a few. You will collaborate with Business Stakeholders / Product Managers to drive the development needs and manage the technology stack enabling B2B tyre orders for our dealers / distributors across Europe.

Your main role will be to shape the Product Roadmap together with the Customer Service team and lead the translation of the roadmap into system functionalities and process improvements, allowing Bridgestone to maintain its competitive edge in the ecommerce area while creating a great digital Customer Experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate the product roadmap into a prioritized backlog in DevOps for the agile dev team
  • Facilitate/write/validating features & user stories ready for development
  • Coordinate acceptance criteria definition for any development, prior to User Acceptance Testing
  • Support the agile team by providing business context, product knowledge and by managing stakeholders (a.o. addressing impediments)
  • Coordinate & plan releases of ready features
  • Co-lead Sprint Ceremonies (Planning, Review, Retrospective) with support of the Scrum Master / Business Owner
  • Validate team deliverables & assesses business value achieved. Be as such accountable for the delivered product feature

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related or similar field
  • Languages skills: English, any other European language is a plus
  • Experience (years): 5+ years or relevant experience (Product owner)
  • Technical Knowledge
  • Ecommerce platforms, preferably in a B2B environment (SAP CX / Hybris a plus)
  • Experience with web technologies / digital solutions
  • Previous experience in Agile working environments
  • ERP Sales or interfacing
